Our live and silent auctions are made possible with the many generous donations
by family, friends, local retailers and those with the common goal to support
those fighting cancer. After a great round of golf at The Redwoods, our golfers
vie for a wide variety of silent auction items. It is not uncommon to see
donations like a live pink dogwood tree, portraits, fridges filled with either
beer or wine, jewelry to brighten any ladies life or a tailor made suit for
the man of the house, are up for the taking.
The excitement continues with the close of the silent auction and the start
of the live auction. Imagine being able to win a BBQ for 20 people,
in your own back yard (donated by the Keg in the Country); winning a GM Place
Suite for a night (Donated by Peter Coleman of Petro Value), or winning one
of the many autographed sport jerseys by your favourite hockey or baseball
star.
These are just a few of the items offered at last year’s tournament. Team Drive for a Cure is always looking for new and exciting items to add to both the live and silent auctions.
